 Hi - I'm the guy in the logo. That's me wedged right there between Port Townsend Art (the local artists) and .com (a world full of potential Port Townsend Art lovers like you.) My name is Andy Burt and I am the father of this little baby brain-child. When you see the words "we" and "us" used on these pages, be aware that I'm really just referring to me because at this point, (with the notable exception of the artists, who do all the hard work) this site is a one-man operation. But I do feel that I have enough distinct personalities to justify the use of those terms. So keep in mind when you shop for and (hopefully) buy gifts from this site, that I will be personally supervising every step in the process with an eye toward assuring your total and utter satisfaction.
I have lived in Port Townsend since 1996 and have earned my living working in the local print shops. In the past seven years, I have met and worked with many local artists on various printing projects. The idea of this site was first conceived in April and, after a three month gestation, it has become actual. So far, all feedback has been positive. Now I am able to pursue my dream of making a living off the talents of others. I hope you enjoy your visit will check back often for special unique gift ideas, and just to watch us grow.
