At Port Townsend Art.com we publish our own line of art cards and decorative prints featuring the works of Port Townsend, Washington artists. As we collect and create for this site, we keep to our special niche of "locals only" art. In doing this, we are tapping a unique and special talent pool. At this time, all of the cards and prints available on this site are ones we have published. In the future we also plan to offer cards and prints available from other publishers so long as they feature local artists. All of the cards and prints that we publish are printed here in Port Townsend.

Our note cards come in two sizes: the large cards are 5"x 7" (A-7) and cost $3 each. The small cards are 4.25"x 5.5" (A-2) and cost $2 each. All cards are printed on a beautiful, heavy, smooth (not glossy) white cardstock and come with envelopes. When you order 6 or more of a single card, the price drops to $2.50 for large cards and $1.66 for small cards. Pre-selected sets are available at reduced prices as well.

We use the term "decorative prints" to describe our prints. Think of them as giant cards suitable for framing. While they may be prints of fine art, they are not truly "fine art prints". But they are beautiful, durable, accurate, and inexpensive reproductions that should maintain their beauty for decades. Our prints are all 11"x 14", printed on heavy cardstock, and include an extra heavy white acid free backing board. The image size is approximately (no larger than) 8"x 10". Whenever possible, we size the image to fit a standard 8"x 10" photo mat (widely available and inexpensive 11"x 14" mats with a 7.5"x 9.5" opening - many frames, including the wood frames available here, include this standard size mat.) Because we print to this standard size, there is usually no need to "mount" the prints (i.e. - no tape or glue required, and you can easily change your mind.) The prints also come with a faux mat printed around the image so they have the appearance of a matted print even without a mat. This provides a great combination of affordability, flexability, and convenience. You can dress these prints up or dress them down and they'll look great either way. You can put one of these prints, matted or unmatted, in an inexpensive frame for a fine looking, yet affordable decorative gift. Take one of our inexpensive prints to a custom framer for royal finery, and it will look replendent. The options are myriad so you can feel free to be creative.
